Communications | PR Committee

Committee meets last Tuesday at 12:00pm

The Communications | PR Committee is responsible for the development, design and maintenance of the CREW Seattle web site. Committee members act as a conduit between the membership and a professional web site consultant to maintain the timeliness, completeness and accuracy of all web site content. The Communications committee researches and gathers information, implements enhancements, and monitors the content of the CREW web site to ensure it is the premier source of information for our members, sponsors, and the real estate community. The Committee is responsible for coordinating the production of the quarterly CREW Seattle Newsletter.

In addition, the Committee is responsible for expanding CREW Seattle’s presence and influence as well as enhancing the image and credibility of CREW inside and outside the organization. Some committee members serve as liaisons to other CREW Seattle committees to provide a publicity perspective on how to publicize and promote newsworthy material to the media. To increase awareness of CREW Seattle’s mission and activities, the committee works with a public relations specialist who promotes CREW events within the local press community via press releases and newsworthy articles. News of CREW Seattle events has frequently appeared in the Daily Journal of Commerce, the Puget Sound Business Journal and the NWReporter.
