CREW Seattle & Sound HistoryWhat began in 1985 as an informal lunch among women involved in the commercial real estate industry has now grown into an organization of over 200 active members. Commercial Real Estate Women Northwest (CREW-Northwest) was officially formed as a Washington non-profit corporation in 1986. In January of 1990, Crew-Northwest joined the National Network of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW Network), to provide greater exposure and networking possibilities for our members in the Pacific Northwest. In 2002, in order to more specifically describe our membership, CREW-Northwest officially changed its name to Commercial Real Estate Women Seattle, and is now also known as CREW Seattle & Sound.
